HITTING THE ROAD

Hello, everybody!





Let's spend the first few minutes of the lesson working on grammar. We have been looking at present and past tenses, so... guess what! You'll be doing some work on them today!



1. Follow this link number 1 and these two other links (past tenses 1 + past tenses 2) to practice and revise working with these tenses. 

2. Look for a song that contains examples of the tenses (all of them or just one), listen to it and write in the comments section below at least 5 different examples. Then, write (at least) five sentences of your own, one for each example you got from the song. 

LET'S GET TO THE FUN PART NOW...

You will spend the remaining time of the class working on your unit project. To do so, follow this structure:

a) 5 minutes: look for a city that you would like to visit. It must be a very multicultural city. These links may help you:

- The 10 most multicultural cities in the world

- 11 diverse melting pot cities around the world

b) 5 minutes: look for plane tickets and a hotel for seven nights

- Skyscanner

- Rumbo

c) 10 minutes: look for 3 museums/sites related to multiculturalism or diversity

d) 20 minutes: make a PowerPoint/Prezi/any other resource you like/ presentation**

Follow  this link  to complete the exercises on past perfect continuous. When you feel comfortable, try these exercises here for more a more advanced level. Revise again if you get too many wrong answers or feel unsure! LET'S GET TO THE FUN PART NOW...
