The Scottish Play
You will spend the remaining time of the class working on your unit project. To do so, again, follow this structure:
Hello, everybody!
Let's spend the first few minutes of the lesson working on grammar. We have been looking at reported speech, so... guess what! You'll be doing some work on them today!
Please follow the links to do so:
1. Questions (if you have any trouble, revise the grammar, and try again).
2. Mixed Exercise
3. (only do it if you had trouble with the previous one) Mixed Exercise II
4. Leave a comment below using at least 3 of the idioms learned in the previous lesson.
You will spend the remaining time of the lesson preparing for the school trip. 👏To do so:
- Watch this video in which you will learn about the plot of the play. Also, carry out the Tasks and write the answers on a document that you will send to my e-mail.
In that same document, include the answers to the following questions (click here and here for answers)
a. What are the themes of the play?
b. And the motifs?
c. Why do people call it The Scottish Play?
- Play Quizlet - some Shakespeare fun!
After you watch the play, you will have to:
1. Provide a character map (including actions and some description)
2. Put on a part of the play.
